Motul Specific MB 229.51

Motor oil for EURO IV gasoline and diesel engines. It is specially formulated for new Mercedes-Benz autos with Euro IV engines requiring Mid SAPS oils with a reduced amount of sulfur (less than 0.2%), phosphorus (less than 0.08%) and sulfated ash (less than 0.8%). Check the manufacturer’s recommendations before using the oil. Homologation: MB 229.51 . MB has developed MB 229.51 standard for the oils with the reduced sulfated ash, phosphorus, sulfur (Mid SAPS) compatible with after-treatment systems. These oils enable to achieve the extended change intervals according to the values of the on-board computer. The oil is changed according to the manufacturer’s recommendations or your own choice. Do not mix with the oils which fail to meet MB229.51 requirements.
