GEAR EP 4 80W-90 is a mineral transmission oil for manual gearboxes, hypoid gears and gearboxes where it is recommended to use GL-4 oil. GEAR EP 4 80W-90 is a multi-purpose transmission oil for automotive drivetrains, gearboxes, rear axles, etc. when hypoid oil or API GL-4 oil is required. It is formulated for maximum efficiency if when gears are subject to big loads. It improves fuel economy compared to the general SAE 90 oil. GEAR EP 4 80W-90 is resistant to oxidation even in high operating temperatures and protects from corrosion. It comprises soft anti-friction additives reducing temperature, wear and surface fatigue. Thanks to this fact, the oil sustains high loads and extends the oil change intervals without negative impact on high zinc latten.
