Motorcraft ® MERCON ® V is a double-purpose fluid for automatic transmissions (ATF) and power steering
- Premium quality of double application, fluid for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury
- It can be used in vehicles requiring MERCON ® V or MERCON ® ATF
- It ensures excellent protection for electronically controlled automatic transmission
- It is produced with a high viscosity index, from the best hydrotreated base oils and specially selected additives
- It ensures excellent properties in low and high ambient temperatures
- It has excellent thermal conductivity and resistance to oxidation, as well as good fluidity in low temperatures
- It ensures protection from wear and prevents formation of sludge, lacquer and foam
- It protects from rust and corrosion
- It is red-colored to easily detect leaks
- It is suitable for use as a hydraulic oil in a wide range of industrial applications which require ISO 46 or SAE 20W
- Do not use together with MERCON ® SP, MERCON ® LV
- Do not use in a transfer case
