Shell Rimula R5 E 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic all-season oil for heavy-duty, high-speed diesel engines operating in severe and extreme conditions. Shell Rimula R5 E oil is suitable for heavy-duty Euro 2, 3 and 4 engines with extended oil change intervals. Thanks to multi-functional additives and enhanced synthetic base oils, Shell Rimula R5 E has improved energy-saving, viscosity, temperature and anti-wear properties. They efficiently prevent formation of deposits on the engine parts and are more eco-friendly. Shell Rimula R5 E 10W-40 oil saves fuel and reduces energy losses on friction. A high viscosity index (150) ensures good fluidity in low temperatures (cold engine start) and higher viscosity at the engine working temperature. Shell Rimula R5 E 10W-40 oil is used in extreme winter conditions. Pour point is -39 °C.
